1. Maharashtra reschedules Eid-e-Milad holiday in Mumbai to September 8 to avoid overlap with Anant Chaturdashi festival on September 6, ensuring smooth celebrations and civic management.

The Mumbai property market reached the 11,000 registration milestone in August 2025, maintaining consistency in housing sales, according to data from Knight Frank India, a property consultancy. The city under the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) recorded 11,230 property registrations last month.
