1. All shops, except bars and liquor outlets, can operate 24×7 in Maharashtra, clarifies Govt

In a significant clarification, the Maharashtra government Wednesday stated that all shops and establishments across the state, barring those involved in the sale and supply of liquor, can remain open round the clock. 4. Dadar fish market to be moved, finally

Following persistent complaints from residents of the Swarajya Co-operative Housing Society Ltd in Dadar, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is in the final stages of planning the temporary relocation of the Dadar fish market to Loop Road in Wadala. The move is expected to be executed within a month – before Diwali – but residents have warned of legal action if the civic body fails to meet the deadline. 5. Breather for Mumbai as city sees a decline in Malaria, other monsoon-related diseases last month

In a major relief to city dwellers, Mumbai has witnessed a notable shift in monsoon-related disease trends in September this year.
